Dr. Phuc Huynh received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2013, M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 2016 and 2021, respectively. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate. His research focus is on high-power converter architectures with applications in clean energy. Phuc has interned in several companies including Jabil as an electronics manufacturing engineer, HDR Engineering as a power system consultant, and Bosch Research Center as a predictive-model engineer. As a Ph.D. student, Phuc received Outstanding Presentation Award, Applied Power Electronics Conference, 2019, an Honorable Mention, (seven candidates selected out of 122 applicants nationwide), Link Foundation Energy Fellowship Program, 2019 and was named as a Siebel Scholar, 2020.

Dr. Debranjan Mukherjee received the B.E. degree from the Bengal Engineering and Science University, Howrah, India, in 2012 and the M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India in 2014 and 2020, respectively. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, IL, USA. His research interests include wind energy conversion systems, power electronic converters, and pulse width modulation techniques.He was the recipient of two awards for his M.Tech thesis work: the Innovative Student Projects Award from the Indian National Academy of Engineering and the other from the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (NaMPET Phase-II), Government of India, in 2014.

Shivang Agrawal received his B.Tech.(H) degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India in 2016. He completed his M.S in 2019 and continuing his Ph.D research. He has previously worked at Robert Bosch Engineering along with internships at ABB Corporate Research Center, and at Technical University Munich, Germany. He has received the Institute Silver medal. His research focus lies in brushless doubly-fed machines and drives for aircraft propulsion and off-shore wind turbine. Shivang was awarded Olesen Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching in 2018.

Bonhyun Ku received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2016, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree. His research focus lies in power electronics and actuators for robotic applications. He previously worked at Renesas Electronics America as an Applications Engineer Intern. He is a recipient of Kwanjeong Educational Foundation Fellowship for his graduate study. As a graduate student, Bonhyun was awarded 3rd Prize (out of 22 worldwide participants) in the 2019 ECCE Student Project Demo Competition.

Elie Libbos received the B.E. (with high distinction) in electrical and computer engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB), Beirut, Lebanon in 2018 and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), USA in 2020. He is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research focus lies in power electronics and electric machines and drives for electric vehicles. Mr. Libbos received the ECE Distinguished Graduate Award in 2018 at AUB. As a graduate student, he has been awarded the ECE Distinguished Research Fellowship, UIUC.
